Outside a symphony plays. The musicians are black velvet gowned, red breasted and speckle chested. Rook, blackbird, twitterings of hedge sparrow, sweet song of robin, and enchanting lull of song thrush. Celandine, primrose and white violet scent the spring air and the sun is warm. I'm wearing short sleeves in March.
I've made some birds.
And I finished 'Peaceable Kingdom'

Peaceable Kingdom is such an apt name for how I feel when looking at this.
ReplyDeleteThe birds hardly stopped here in the woodland this year but now the weather has warmed their song has raised a notch or two and are joined by the woodpeckers drumming out their love songs.
The wooden birds are gorgeous & 'Peaceable Kingdom' is stunningly beautiful.

Peaceable Kingdom is a lovely painting. It's great to see all the Spring flowers coming out and to hear the birds singing - we're having a wonderful Spring so far.
