Let me introduce you to 'African hare' He came to live with us just before Easter when my husband brought him back as a present for me, all the way from Zimbabwe. I think he enjoys his new home and his new hare friends, but is a little in awe of the golden chocolate bunnies. I did tell him they were just short term guests of course. ;)
I hope you had a good Easter weekend?
April showers have arrived, and the hazel is showing off her new leaves.
Today I found it hard to concentrate. The breeze and bird song played tag with my ideas so in between, I transplanted blue cornflowers for bees.
African Hare is a wonderful bunny, I am sure he will fit right in.
ReplyDeleteLove the African Hare, hope he doesn't think he's going to get eaten, too!
ReplyDeleteThe African Hare is precious.
ReplyDeleteHe'll love his new home.
Something is shaking the cosmos. Powerful energies.
I had a wonderful Easter.
He is adorable, and I guess glad he doesn't have a golden coat and a tinkly bell lol
ReplyDeleteEaster blessings x x x
He does look very eager to fit right in!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to my daughter's return from Paris this evening: no wooden hare's for me but macaroons will ease the pain of not going myself!
Macaroons, just the thing from Paris. Enjoy! :)
DeleteOh my! I love him! I'm sure he will be very happy with you and all of yoour wonderful creations.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful hare and what a long way he's travelled. Our golden chocolate bunnies are long eaten only the little bells remain. Have spent all day outside in the sunshine and our hazel hedge is greening beautifully too. Karen X

ReplyDeleteHello, Karen! My Easter weekend has just begun! Tomorrow morning we'll have our traditional Easter breakfast when the whole family gathers at the table to eat eggs and Easter cake!
ReplyDeleteI hope the next couple of days will be sunny and full of spring colours, tunes and scents!
The African hare is lovely! Some months ago I came back from Kenya, but I can't stop thinking of my unforgetable stay there... I suppose it's the same with your husband!
Hi Rossichka. It sounds a wonderful Easter celebration and family time. I do hope the sun has shone for you to make it even more special? :)
DeleteYes, I can imagine that the beautiful memories of Kenya will always be with you. My husband was born and grew up in Zimbabwe. This was a quick visit to family and friends but no time for safari etc sadly.
I took part in a project, training young Kenyan artists and working together with children from orphanages. We were busy all the time, that's why the last day's safari was like a gift! Here's my special post for you both to see...:) http://rossichka.blogspot.com/2012/03/iii-my-african-journal-part-iii.html
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful experience rossichka. Thanks for the link I'll pop across and have a read. :)
