Some Days A Little Light Is Needed

The day has been grey here, so I thought I'd share some light that I captured earlier in the week.
Sometimes we need a little extra light in our days.
To lift our spirits that can sometimes feel worn out or a little deflated in January.
There are days when some things just don't go the way we expect.
But tommorow is another day and in the meantime we'll gaze out of the window.
And of course, a cup of something always helps matters.

 Enjoy your weekend.

  5. How I agree with you. I find that once I can get down to doing something crafty I usually feel much better and the time goes by quite quickly.
I have a saying that I always use and that is 'Everything passes'.
    Soon be Spring....

  6. Yes, a cup of something is always welcome - in good and in bad moments! My cup of coffee is still warm, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! And I prefer light to darkness - it betters my mood, that's why I love Spring so much. Wonderful photos!!

  7. The light here is so very different than usual. Snow covers everything, and has for a week now, so it's a clear, bright light that is filling every corner of the cottage. Even at night!

  8. I like your cup and saucer, such a lovely design. Your crystals make the most amazing rainbows! Mine make little ones but I love them, they make me smile. :) I've made my own burst of colour on my canvases instead!xx

  9. Thank you for that I have just come back from a busy day at work and the translucence of the colours has just soothed me down. I seem to be receptive to colour.

  10. Just what's needed. We've been in deep fog for two days so a bit of colour really lifts the spirits. A mug of coffee and toast with jam helps too! Have a lovely weekend.

  16. These been dark days recently. I have a morning to spend lighting candles in corners, and burning herbs to clear the darkness from my studio :)
